I have been doing a lot of research about Auralite and heard both sides of the story. A few months ago, I came across Auralite Crystal. However, most pieces will contain between 2-7 different minerals in it's matrix.ġ1th Feb 2016 20:31 UTC Jhon Harris I'm big fan of crystals and have been studying crystals for years. He also said that it is extremely rare to find one piece of Auralite that will contain all 23 minerals. However, it is not Amethyst because the shapes, forms & mineral components that Auralite Crystals has cannot be found anywhere else in the world. He confirmed to me that Auraltie does come from from Amethyst, and that Amethyst is a main component of this crystal. I was at a Mineral and Gem show 2 months ago and I met a mineralogist who wrote a book on Auralite. Not trying to insult anyone here guys, but I am trying to keep an open mind. Has anyone here actually seen and examined under a microscope a genuine Auralite Crystal? So far it seems that only one person in this whole trend took the time to do so and he clearly named more than 3 Minerals in the piece he found.

Hul Does is anyone here have a certified mineralogists degree to make such claims and accusations? How do you know that what you're saying is 100% true? Do you think that quartz and amethyst are two separate minerals.?Ħth Feb 2016 17:11 UTC S. I've seen them become quite excited at bits of plastic, dust, insect parts, and whatnot.Īs for "super seven" or "sacred seven", or whatever silly name you want to call it, your list of inclusions is doubtful in the extreme. People without experience, or insufficient magnification, or with excessive imagination, or just poor eyesight, can see all sorts of things. Inclusions in amethyst are far from rare. I assume an idiot with a claim, an assay report, and greed and I strongly suspect the involvement of a deluded crystal power freak.Īttributing magical powers to the stuff is fraud, and people like this should be locked up. I would really, really like to know how the list got to 23, in the case of the mystical healing "auralite-23". The inclusions include hematite in many forms, goethite in brown needles, pyrite cubes, some negative crystals and that's about it. The mineralogy of the amethyst deposits is very, very simple. I'd love to get photomicrographs of the stuff, it is amazing. I've scoped dozens of pieces from different mines.
